Victory as Carphone Warehouse pulls the plug on racists

Who'd have thought that this little old blog would have such power and influence. Only yesterday I said "I think that the Carphone Warehouse, the sponsors of the show should cancel their contract with Big Brother now!".

And today the BBC reports that Carphone Warehouse has done just that.

I shouldn't get too excited as I wasn't the only person calling for this

Great news! No need to duck the credit also - your blog added to the voices shouting at Carphone Warehouse.

Although again, the cynic in me thinks that the publicity from this will be more valuable than they would have had by being with a non-racist BB - but who cares about the purity of their motives given the result.
